SPICED TOFU BITES

Hotter and longer days should be spent with friends. And it doesn’t matter if all of those interesting conversations are ended almost in the middle of the night. It’s summertime! Next time, when you invite friends over, don’t serve them just a chilled glass of wine but also some delicious snack. These spiced tofu bites are the right choice.
INGREDIENTS
3 packages of I Like Tofu Fleur de Sel
2 teaspoons of garlic powder
2 teaspoons of sweet paprika
4 spoons of balsamic vinegar
2 spoons of soy sauce I Like Tofu Tamari
olive oil
salt
pepper

PREPARATION

Slice the tofu into even cubes and distribute them evenly into three different bowls. In a cup, mix together soy sauce and balsamic vinegar. Pour the marinade into the first bowl and set it aside for at least 30 minutes. If you’re not in a hurry, it’s better to marinate the tofu for a couple of hours.

For the second flavor, put the garlic powder and a half of a teaspoon of salt into the second bowl with tofu and mix it well.

For the third flavor, use the sweet paprika.

Using a pan, heat some olive oil and start toasting tofu cubes. First the ones with garlic, then those with sweet paprika and at the end the marinated ones. Make sure that cubes are toasted on each side and that you wipe the paprika of the pan before you put the last tofu into it.

Bites should be served warm.
