Burger cravings can be very frequent, but preparing a burger patty is not always our favourite task. It takes some time and effort to get the best result. Because of that we got an idea to create the simplest burger recipe as possible. And believe it or not, flavours are there!
200 g of I Like Tofu Smoked With Walnuts
I Like Tofu Tamari soy sauce
fresh lettuce
red onion
vegan mayo
mustard with seeds
olive oil

Cut Smoked tofu with walnuts in half and marinate it in Tamari soy sauce for at least 30 minutes.

Cut an onion into rings and pour over some vinegar and add a pinch of salt. Leave it aside for a few minutes.

Heat the olive oil in a pan and fry each piece of tofu from both sides. Cut buns in half and when you finish frying tofu, toast each bun half in the same pan. That way you’ll get a bit of soya sauce also on the bread.

When everything’s ready, start building up your burgers: spread one teaspoon of mustard on the bottom half of the bun, add tomatoes, lettuce, tofu, onion rings and at the end a table spoon of mayo. Cover everything with half of a bun.
